After swimming around for another 5 minutes, thinking I needed a higher water level to jump from, I became stumped and looked up a guide video. I tried to hit the right spot a few times more, with no luck. There was no animation of any kind to show that I was affecting the object, and after a couple seconds of messing with it, nothing happened. One instance stands out for me: on one of the piranha levels I latched onto part of an object, but I couldn't jump out of the water far enough to hit the indicated attachment point, so I wasn't sure I was interacting with it correctly. Sometimes this confusion is caused by objects lacking visual or auditory feedback to indicate whether they're being interacted with correctly, and the sloppy hitboxes don't help. I had to look up a guide multiple times because I was stuck in an area with no idea where I was supposed to be going or what I was supposed to do to progress. My biggest problem with the levels, though, is the lack of feedback on where to go and what to do that pervaded my experience. (The bread collectible in the middle of the road on the first level can go die in a fire.) And anything involving a road must simply be attempted over and over again until you get lucky - in certain cases, I found this rage-inducing. Sloppy hitboxes on humans and other weirdly-shaped objects cause consternation and confusion.

Many levels have great sections that are over too quickly, followed by horribly boring ones that last far longer, like the devs were unable to tell which parts of their game were actually fun. Others are arduous, with my first attempts taking 40-50 minutes. Some levels are short, with a first attempt taking at most 10 minutes to complete. However, the level quality is all over the place, even within the same levels.
